Job Summary
Service Writer role at Vermeer Midwest in Mancelona, MI. Responsibilities include initiating service and repair processes, verifying warranty coverage, developing estimates, assigning jobs to technicians, scheduling road service calls, maintaining proactive customer communication, finalizing repair orders for accuracy, submitting warranty claims, and maintaining professional relationships with customers and team members. - Ability to safely operate a forklift and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in CDK, Microsoft Office, and internet-based tools
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and MVR check
