Job Summary
Complete work orders by opening and closing them with accurate information, ensuring technician time reporting is recorded accurately and timely. Submit tasks eligible for warranty and monitor reporting to ensure claims close properly. Run preventive maintenance reports to schedule work and maintain fleet currency while handling equipment maintenance issues with urgency. Process service-related invoices by coding them within the correct General Ledger and handle customer inquiries to keep the service department informed. Maintain equipment files and stay updated on service bulletins. This safety-sensitive role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 1–2 years of shop experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 1 – 2 years experience in a shop or service environment
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- High sense of urgency with respect to customer service
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
