Job Summary
Service Writer responsible for consulting customers on vehicle conditions and VIP processes to educate them about the condition of their vehicle, based on MPI inspection results; aims to deliver an exceptional customer experience and high-performance results through effective communication, teamwork, and VIP standards; duties include coordinating with the Service Manager, completing LMS and vendor trainings, achieving certifications (BATS, TPMS, ASE), guiding the 5-for-5 customer education process, managing work order dispatch, maintaining facility cleanliness and safety, and participating in regular meetings; standard schedule is 5 days and 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
