Job Summary
Service Writer at VIP Seabrook location engages with customers to educate them on vehicle conditions based on MPI inspection, builds relationships, and supports VIP processes to deliver a differentiated customer experience. Responsibilities include advising customers on services, achieving high customer engagement and SAX scores, participating in LMS and vendor trainings, maintaining safety and cleanliness of the facility, coordinating with technicians and management, and upholding the service Code of Ethics. Requires strong verbal and written communication, organization, time management, automotive servicing knowledge, and ASE certifications with a focus on delivering accurate service recommendations and effective team collaboration. The role entails a standard 5-day work week, 40 hours, and a physical work environment typical of an automotive service department.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
