Job Summary
Coordinate scheduling and performance of maintenance services for the KY Shop fleet by ascertaining problems, verifying warranty coverages, developing estimates, and planning technician work. Review and finalize Standard Repair Orders within 24 hours of completion, process vendor repair orders, and prepare customer invoices. Manage offsite work for PMs, breakdowns, and DVIR issues across KY, IN, KS, and UT accounts while tracking warranty claims and maintaining inventory accuracy via the TMT application. Answer customer calls daily and follow up on inquiries within 24 hours. Work Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a weekly rotation for after-hour breakdown support.
Required Qualifications
- 1+-year experience as a Service Writer or related experience
- 1+ – year experience specialized knowledge in the heavy-duty equipment field
- 1+ years' experience in trucking industry
- High School Diploma
- Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Agree to companies drug free workplace policies
- Ability to lift to 45lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing entire shift
- Frequently exposed to fumes/airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration
- Occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions
Desired Qualifications
