Job Summary
Service Writer position in Merrimack, NH responsible for consulting with customers, educating them about vehicle conditions based on MPI inspections, and guiding the service team to deliver a high-quality, VIP-driven customer experience. Requires learning VIP processes, achieving strong customer engagement and SAX scores, coordinating with the Service Manager, passing LMS and vendor trainings, and meeting safety, code, and procedural standards. Must communicate effectively with the team, manage service desk interactions, and assist in assigning work orders to technicians while maintaining a clean, safe service environment. Relevant certifications and licensing (ASE C1, P2, G1, State Inspection where applicable) and a valid driver’s license are required or recommended as specified.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
