Job Summary
Service Writer at VIP Auto in Keene, NH is responsible for educating customers about their vehicle conditions based on MPI inspections, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and helping the team meet VIP program standards. Responsibilities include consulting with customers, building relationships, following VIP processes, achieving a high SAX score for customer engagement, completing LMS and vendor trainings, attaining TIA BATS and TPMS certifications, ASE certifications, effective team communication, daily dispatching and assignment of work orders to technicians, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and participating in regular meetings and training sessions. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to service codes, and collaboration with management to ensure service standards are met; standard schedule is 5 days per week and 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
