Job Summary
Interact with customers regarding service needs, identify issues, and recommend solutions while keeping clients informed of additional repairs and costs. Create detailed work orders to ensure correct repairs on equipment and review repair orders for assignment to technicians. Assist in scheduling shop and field repairs, manage billing inquiries, and track special parts orders or shortages. Perform daily shop operations as assigned by Service Managers and maintain knowledge of all dealership products and services. Uphold safety procedures and promote a positive work environment through teamwork and clear communication with customers, peers, and management.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in Automotive or Heavy-equipment dealers.
- Must have experience in a Service garage.
- Experience working in a fast-paced work environment.
- Comprehensive experience with Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel, internet navigation and computer software and data bases.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Possesses a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to move around the dealership building and grounds without assistance.
- Ability to repeatedly bend, crouch, kneel, stand, reach, grasp, crawl, walk, push, pull, or climb.
- Ability to climb in, out of, and under equipment.
- Ability to operate all vehicles and equipment safely to prevent injury to self or others.
- Lift 10 pounds regularly, lift up-to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift 65 pounds.
- Possess a visual acuity that will allow you to see small cracks, holes, and parts.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment or outside in inclement weather.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with small and large Agriculture equipment preferred.
