Job Summary
Create, process, and manage service work orders while serving as the primary contact for customers regarding service requests and repair status updates. Prepare quotes and estimates for equipment repairs and maintenance, then schedule and dispatch field and shop technicians to maximize efficiency. Coordinate communication between customers, technicians, and internal departments, process warranty claims, and maintain accurate service documentation. Assist with invoicing, billing inquiries, and other service department administrative functions to ensure timely and accurate completion of service records. Requires a valid driver's license and experience quoting repair work in machinery, heavy equipment, or construction environments. Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | $50,000–$65,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Experience writing and quoting work orders within a machinery, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, trucking, or repair facility environment
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and repair processes
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized service management systems
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Valid driver's license required
- High school diploma or GED required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Coordinator, Service Advisor, or similar customer-facing service role preferred
