Job Summary
Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles by receiving work order requests and managing repairs with Area Managers, Fleet Managers, and external facilities. Maintain DOT documentation, vehicle inspection records, and preventative maintenance schedules through a computer-based system while ordering and auditing parts inventories. Track warranty information, update notification alerts for Annual Vehicle Inspections, and reconcile data including hours, mileage, and truck-down reports. Provide premier customer service to internal and external clients, including vendors, while occasionally traveling to visit maintenance shops or parts distributors. Requires weekday overtime and occasional weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to work weekday overtime and occasional weekends
- Must be able to provide premier customer service to internal/external customers including vendors
- Strong organization and attention to details skills, able to take initiative and multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Knowledgeable in computer applications and industry-specific software
- Must be able to regularly sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, type, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience working in a maintenance shop facility for heavy duty trucks preferred
- Ready mix fleet experience preferred
