Job Summary
Service Writer position at VIP in Auburn, ME focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience by consulting with customers, educating them about vehicle conditions based on MPI inspection results, and coordinating with the service team to execute VIP programs and standards. Responsibilities include safety compliance, communicating with customers and team, completing LMS and vendor trainings, achieving VIP SAX scores, and assisting with dispatch and service processes to ensure smooth operation in-store. Requires ASE C1 certification (and associated safety/maintenance certifications), a valid driver's license, and relevant automotive service experience. Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
