Job Summary
Reporting to the Materials Management Team Leader, the incumbent provides day to day transportation services to patients, staff and supplies throughout the Centre. Responsibilities include moving/transporting supplies and staff with/without patients on and off site, maintaining/cleaning vehicles, collecting monthly mileage/oil change/sharps reports, logging appointments, collecting linen/garbage/recycling bags, moving furniture, supplies, boxes and equipment, and assisting with wheelchairs. Requires ability to work independently and within a team, strong interpersonal/communication skills, and the capacity to perform basic vehicle maintenance. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school education (Manitoba Standards)
- Driver's license Class IV or higher and bus training is required
- TDG training is an asset
- Supervisory training is considered an asset
