Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance inspections, diagnose and repair tractor, trailer, refrigeration, and support equipment issues, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using diagnostic tools. Execute DOT, OEM, and company-required maintenance procedures to repair and replace heavy truck and trailer components. Conduct tire inspections, repairs, and failure analysis while responding to maintenance needs and delivering excellent customer service. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Join Swift Transportation, supporting a fleet of over 13,000 trucks and 60,000 trailers with access to experienced mentors and comprehensive OEM training.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and learn diagnostic software systems
- Ability to read repair manuals and complete work orders accurately
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service
Desired Qualifications
- Diesel mechanic or vehicle maintenance experience preferred
