Job Summary
Conduct on-site equipment inspections, operate and oversee machine setups, and provide hands-on training for customer operators on web converting and coating machinery. Evaluate process issues at both in-house and customer facilities, recommend corrective actions, and deliver preventative maintenance guidance to maximize uptime. Support prototyping activities, participate in engineering design reviews, and document inspection results and process improvement recommendations. Approximately 50% of the role involves domestic and international travel for customer support and training.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment with strong competence in machine operation, inspection, and process optimization
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field preferred
- Technical Capacity (machine operation, inspection, process optimization)
