Job Summary
Develop and deliver training to improve Service Advisor knowledge, confidence, consistency, and performance across dealership locations. Coach Advisors on the complete Awesome Guest Experience, including Service Drive greetings, needs discovery, vehicle walkarounds, and recommendation presentations. Conduct classroom training, role-play, and real-time observation to reinforce ethical, Guest-focused sales practices. Monitor key performance indicators such as Customer Pay Effective Labor Rate and service retention to identify skill gaps and develop targeted coaching plans. Partner with Service Managers, Technicians, and leadership to align training with operational priorities and company goals. Report progress and development opportunities to the Director of Training while maintaining consistent Multi-Point Inspection standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in related field (Service Advisor, Service Manager, Fixed Operations)
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years in training, coaching, or management preferred
- Multi-store or group experience strongly preferred
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Proven ability to coach and motivate diverse teams
- Deep understanding of dealership processes and performance drivers
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into action
- High level of professionalism and credibility with leadership and frontline staff
