Job Summary
Bridge service and sales departments by engaging directly with service customers to identify trade-in, buy-back, and upgrade opportunities while driving new and pre-owned vehicle sales. Lead and manage a team of Service-to-Sales specialists by overseeing staffing, training, performance evaluations, and coaching. Anticipate monthly and annual sales goals, prepare departmental budgets, and develop a sales control system to monitor commission sheets and payroll. Recruit, train, and monitor automotive sales employees while ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws. Forecast annual dealership sales, analyze customer preference records, and consult with department heads on advertising and equipment acquisition. Respond to customer complaints, conduct scheduled sales training, and coordinate deal closures with salespeople to maximize incremental revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, computer software, and internet proficiency
- Enthusiasm for the Automotive Dealership industry with a strong focus on customer service

- Strong background in internet and phone sales
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)
- 5+ years of experience in a sales role at a dealership
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods of walking on a level surface throughout the dealership
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of management experience preferred
- Prior experience in F&I, used car buying, or service drive sales a plus
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- History of strong CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores
