Service Tire Installer Technician

Job Summary
Mount, balance, and install tires on customer and dealership vehicles safely and efficiently. Perform tire rotations, flat tire repairs, and computerized wheel balancing. Inspect tires for uneven wear, damage, and tread depth, reporting findings to Service Advisors. Set tire pressures to manufacturer specifications and reset Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS). Safely operate automotive lifts, tire mounting machines, and wheel balancers. Assist in organizing and maintaining the tire inventory and storage areas. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all shop safety protocols. Full-time 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Physical ability to consistently lift and move heavy tires (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and a strong commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Eagerness to learn and follow specific repair procedures and specifications
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in tire installation or general automotive maintenance
- Experience operating tire mounting and balancing equipment
- Familiarity with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)
