Job Summary
Conduct resident service requests and routine maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances. Execute apartment turns to prepare units for move-in and assist team members with technical direction and vendor management. Perform move-in and move-out inspections while utilizing AIR's technology to prioritize tasks efficiently. Work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations, maintaining a reliable transportation system for emergency responses.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience
- Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
- A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours
- Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment
