Service Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles at a dealership. Perform repairs per repair order with efficiency, test drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools, and communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs. Provide time estimates for repairs and execute warranty work to manufacturer specifications. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of auto technician experience, ASE certification, strong communication and customer-service skills, computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Fast, eager learner and team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
- ASE certificate
