Job Summary
Conduct general and emergency maintenance on apartments and common areas, including snow removal after hours and weekends. Perform daily cleaning duties such as sanitizing, dusting, sweeping, and waste disposal, while managing apartment turnovers involving trash removal, cleaning, painting, and repairs. Maintain positive resident interactions, ensure property curb appeal, and document visual inspections for defects, roof conditions, and safety hazards. Utilize company databases, follow OSHA10 training, and wear designated uniforms. Available for on-call emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Must be able to follow oral and written directions
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have auto insurance
- Must be physically able to climb ladders
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to crawl into awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to traverse a variety of properties with stairs
- Must be able to traverse a variety of properties in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be available and on-call for emergencies after hours
- Must be available and on-call for weekends
- Must be available and on-call for holidays
- Must be able to report to work according to schedule
- Must be able to report to work on time
- Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment
- Thorough knowledge of general plumbing
- Thorough knowledge of general electrical
- Ability to read repair manuals
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to use power tools
- Ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
