Job Summary
Service Technician responsible for maintenance and upkeep of apartment communities, including general and emergency maintenance, turnover tasks (trash out, cleaning, painting, carpet shampooing), snow removal, safety compliance (OSHA10 training), and daily operation duties. Requires strong customer service, ability to follow instructions, reading repair manuals, use of hand and power tools, and the ability to report to work on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays. The role includes maintaining property cleanliness, safety practices, and interaction with residents, prospects, and staff, with benefits including 401k, ESOP, medical/dental/vision, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Able to read and speak English and follow directions
- Must be physically able to perform duties and lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Prolonged standing and walking; ability to work in various weather conditions
