Job Summary
Service Technician responsible for maintaining apartments and common areas, including after-hours on-call maintenance, snow removal, and turnover tasks (cleaning, painting, carpet shampooing). Duties include ensuring safety, operating and documenting inspections, using basic hand and power tools, maintaining a customer-focused service culture, and adhering to company policies and OSHA10 training. Requires strong time management, problem-solving, and ability to work independently in a multi-unit housing environment; includes interacting with residents and staff, performing routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with third-party inspections as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to read and speak English and follow oral and written directions.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
