Job Summary
Service Technician II responsible for maintenance and repair of commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration and HVAC. Tasks include troubleshooting and repairing cooking, refrigeration and HVAC equipment; ordering parts with the branch; communicating status to customers and branches; completing service tickets; managing truck stock and maintaining the service vehicle and uniforms to Whaley quality; and participating in on-call rotations. Requires driving, travel to work sites, and comfort working in high-temperature kitchen environments with exposure to hot grease; strong emphasis on customer service and accurate documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years maintenance experience to include repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment
- Strong HVAC experience is a plus
- Valid Driver's license and driving record aligns with safety standards
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required
- Ability to work independently
- Dependability
- Accurately and promptly completes required paperwork
- Excellent customer service skills
- Stable work history
- Must be at least 18 years of age
