Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC while communicating repair status and parts orders to customers and the branch office. Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner, auditing truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked. Maintain service vehicles, tools, and uniforms consistent with company standards and safety protocols. Work independently with extensive daily travel to work site locations, meeting on-call weekend rotation requirements. Lift up to 100 pounds frequently and work in high-temperature environments. Valid driver's license and one year of applicable experience in commercial cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's license
- Driving record that aligns with our safety standards
- Completion of a satisfactory background check
- Completion of a drug screen
- 1 Year of applicable experience in at least one skill set: commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or commercial HVAC
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background
- Journeyman License
- CFESA certification
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and soft skills
- Good driving record
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to repeatedly bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and climb up and down ladders
- Ability to travel extensively to work site location
- Ability to work in high temperature environments (over heated kitchens, rooftops, etc.)
- Ability to work on-call weekend rotation
