Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC while communicating repair status updates and parts orders to customers and the branch office. Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner, auditing truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked. Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with safety standards. Meet on-call requirements, including weekend rotation, while performing duties that involve lifting up to 100 pounds, bending, climbing ladders, and working in high-temperature environments. Requires a valid driver's license, satisfactory background check, and at least one year of experience in commercial cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's license
- Driving record that aligns with our safety standards
- Completion of a satisfactory background check
- Completion of a drug screen
- 1 Year of applicable experience in at least one skill set: commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or commercial HVAC
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background
- Journeyman License and or CFESA certification
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and soft skills
- Good driving record
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to repeatedly bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and climb up and down ladders
- Ability to travel extensively to work site location
- Ability to work in high temperature environment (over heated kitchens, rooftops, etc.)
- Ability to work on-call weekend rotation
