Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.) in a dealership setting. Use diagnostic tools and test components, test-drive vehicles, and provide accurate estimates of time needed for repairs. Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of needed services and ensure quality workmanship. Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications, including warranty work. ASE certifications are preferred but not required. A strong automotive background and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to pass a drug screen and background check and hold a clean, valid driver’s license.
