Job Summary
Service Technician role in Cape Town focusing on maintenance and repair of Wärtsilä marine/energy products. Responsibilities include performing maintenance and repair work, following field service direction, using and maintaining mechanical and field/shop tools, preparing parts requisitions, recording time and expenses for invoicing, upholding safety and ISO procedures, ensuring tool readiness and accurate service reporting, maintaining professional conduct and appearance, and promoting Wärtsilä products and services. The position requires submitting high-quality service reports within 48 hours of return and ensuring customer satisfaction through positive interactions, with adherence to all regulations and safety rules. Education in Mechanical/Marine Engineering (diploma/degree) is required.
