Job Summary

Respond to assigned customer service calls to diagnose problems and safely remove, modify, repair, and install veterinary equipment. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostic work on installed products while ensuring all manufacturer, Federal, and State regulations are met. Provide user training on new products and advise customers on preventive maintenance to ensure performance and satisfaction. Independently manage service orders, inventory, and expense reports while maintaining a quality driving record and adhering to OSHA guidelines. Travel to customer locations, including overnight trips, to deliver post-sale services and support.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Mechanical/Carpentry/Plumbing/Heating/Electrical/Electronic related experience
  • Drivers License
  • Ability to thrive in an independent role with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use general terminology to explain technical aspects to a non-technical audience
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use smart phone/tablet
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Teams
  • Ability to respond to difficult situations and demanding people and delivers negative information in a way that enhances relationships
  • Trade school training in carpentry/plumbing/heating/electrical/electronic is highly desirable
  • Previous experience servicing and installing x-ray equipment
  • SAP experience
  • Certified, Licensed or Registered Veterinary Technician
