Job Summary
As a Service Technician at Lucid in Vancouver, BC, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles with a focus on high voltage and EV powertrains. You will repair basic and major mechanical issues, perform electrical/mechanical diagnostics, document repair orders, and communicate effectively with customers and service teammates. The role requires 2-5 years of automotive service experience, Red Seal 310S, EPA 609, High/Low Voltage knowledge, and strong communication skills; ASE certifications and CPR training are a plus. You may support the mobile service team and occasionally work remotely as needed. The company emphasizes a collaborative, customer-centric approach and safety in a luxury EV environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair
- Red Seal 310S
- Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains
- Customer facing experience exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software
- EPA 609 Certification
- Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire
- Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire
