Job Summary

Field Service Technician duties include diagnosing, repairing pumps and propane powered motors on job sites, following safety practices and standard operating procedures, completing work orders and paperwork, collaborating with supervisors and customers, operating on-site equipment, using hand tools (wrenches, hammers, etc.), and assisting in the truck shop or roadside work on big trucks and trailers.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in an industrial environment or oil field
  • Mechanically Inclined
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to work a rotating shift
  • Able to communicate effectively with others
  • Must exhibit independent thinking and be highly resourceful and capable of solving problems with little supervision
  • Must be punctual, disciplined, and talented at time management
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must pass a pre-employment physical, reference checks, drug screen, motor-vehicle report and criminal background check
  • Ability to routinely lift 50 – 100 pounds
  • Ability to safely climb ladders and walk on top of truck tanks
  • Able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions: extreme wind, snow, rain, heat and cold
