Job Summary
Service Technician needed to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and cooking kitchen equipment. Responsibilities include communicating repair status to customers and the branch, completing service calls in a timely manner, monitoring truck stock to ensure required parts are available, maintaining the service vehicle/tools/uniforms to Whaley standards, meeting on-call requirements, and coordinating with the branch to order parts. Applicants should possess strong electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical capabilities, have at least three years of relevant experience, and demonstrate excellent customer service and safety-mindedness. The role includes a company vehicle, benefits, and opportunities for continuing education and certification; background screening and a valid driver's license are required.
Required Qualifications
- Three years commercial kitchen repair and or refrigeration/HVAC experience
- Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards
- Ability to accurately and promptly complete required paperwork
- Excellent customer service skills
- Safety First mindset
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required
