Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on agricultural and turf equipment, including precision technology products and related systems. Follow manufacturer technical manuals, dealership procedures, and safety policies while completing service documentation, work orders, and labor records accurately. Maintain tools, service equipment, and inventory in proper condition, ensuring work areas remain clean and organized. Operate vehicles and diagnostic software, climb structures up to 13 feet, and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds in both indoor and outdoor environments. Requires a high school diploma, associate degree in technical fields, one year of experience, and valid driver's license. Limited local travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Associate degree in diesel technology, agricultural equipment technology, mechanical technology, or a related field
- At least one year of experience performing equipment maintenance or repair work
- Ability to perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance using specialized tools and equipment while following technical manuals and established procedures
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems commonly used in agricultural and turf equipment
- Ability to use diagnostic software, including Service Advisor, and basic computer applications
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for testing and diagnostic purposes
- Valid driver's license
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Service Technician certification
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair practices
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Ability to follow technical instructions, service manuals, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned work accurately
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
- Regularly bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, reach, and work in varying physical positions
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and hand-tool operation
- Climb ladders, equipment, or structures approximately 6 to 13 feet in height
- Stand and walk for extended periods during the workday
- Perform work in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather conditions
- Regular exposure to equipment, moving mechanical parts, noise, dirt, grease, and other conditions commonly associated with equipment repair and maintenance operations
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required based on job duties and safety requirements
- Limited local travel may be required to support service activities, training, or customer needs
