Job Summary
Break down, evaluate, repair, and test pumps while installing equipment with new or replacement parts to ensure safe operations. Disassemble defective pump equipment, perform routine maintenance, and conduct confined space entry for lift station inspections and rebuilds. Keep accurate records of equipment movement, installation progress, and service schedules. Clean and test all repaired equipment to meet company standards and respond to emergency callouts. Work Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm with rotating on-call requirements. Travel to local customer locations, including some overnight trips, while maintaining a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of pump repair & maintenance experience
- Prior service technician experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Be able to bend
- Be able to twist
- Be able to kneel
- Be able to lift 50lbs without injury
- Be able to work in confined spaces like pump station wet wells and manholes
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver license
- Be able to work Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
- Rotating on-call availability
