Job Summary
Diagnose problems with equipment and engines using various methods and tools. Perform preventive maintenance and service/repair work ranging from mechanical to electrical tasks. Identify and source required parts for repairs. Complete detailed service reports for the Service Coordinator and Supervisor. Clean and paint equipment as necessary to finish jobs. This role requires 2-5 years of diesel engine repair experience, a CDL A, and proficiency with electronic diagnostics tools like CAT ET. Candidates must be highly motivated to learn new processes and obtain State Master Certification.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-5 years of Diesel engine repair experience
- Highly motivated and able to learn new tasks, processes, and policies
- Ability to obtain State Master Certification
- CDL A
- Experience writing detailed service reports on internal/external customer equipment
- High School Diploma or Vocational College degree in some of the following areas: Diesel Technology, Welding Technology
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience using CAT ET or similar electronic diagnostics tool
