Job Summary
Conduct start-up and commissioning for chiller technologies, primarily serving the Data Center sector, while also servicing air handlers, custom DX equipment, and packaged rooftop systems. Independently troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems across the nation, requiring approximately 80% travel. Book your own travel to jobsites and maintain a clean driving record. Maintain EPA certification and possess advanced refrigeration knowledge, with a controls background a plus. This role supports Ambient's technical services group in optimizing complex building systems from design through operation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of solo field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning--specifically focused on chiller equipment. (Journeyman)
- 3+ years of experience with chiller start-ups.
- knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems
- Ability to travel independently to jobsites as needed, booking own travel as needed
- Advanced knowledge of refrigeration
- EPA certification
- clean driving record
