Service Technician Trainee

Job Summary
Perform electro-mechanical depot maintenance by repairing printers to electronic board levels, diagnosing equipment problems with autonomy, and assisting in product refurbishment for certified pre-owned sales. Process parts ordering, shipment, and loan equipment documentation while maintaining customs records and conducting bi-yearly stock audits. Test, diagnose, and resolve issues on Entrust equipment to support regional service delivery and customer return contracts. Maintain failure data records and communicate technical challenges to engineering, manufacturing, and quality groups. Complete product training and participate in company-sponsored development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient problem solving and troubleshooting after training
- Demonstrated ability to read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, bill of materials and follow processes
- Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, assignments
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail when processing formal documents
- Able to lift 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of electromechanical technician experience
- Associates degree in Electronics
- Additional electromechanical technician experience
- Skilled with tools and electronic test equipment
