SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Diagnoses and repairs various truck systems for Class 5–8 vehicles and recreational vehicles per OEM and company guidelines. Ensure repairs are complete and accurate per supervisor instructions; maintain correct time punches and work orders; follow attendance and efficiency standards; follow warranty procedures for parts; keep customer vehicles clean during and after repairs; keep the work area clean and safe; follow safety procedures. Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals; write routine reports and communicate effectively with customers or colleagues; perform calculations related to discounts, proportions, percentages, and volumes; apply basic algebra and geometry concepts. Preferred education includes high school diploma/GED and technical training; preferred experience 1–2 years or equivalent combination; Licenses/certifications include CDL; ASE and Freightliner certifications are a plus.
