Job Summary
Service Technician diagnosed and repaired truck systems for class 5-8 vehicles and RVs per OEM and company guidelines; ensures repairs are complete and accurate, maintains time punches and work orders, follows safety procedures, maintains a clean work area and vehicle, and adheres to warranty procedures; requires the ability to read and interpret safety and operating manuals, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and employees; preferred CDL, ASE, and Freightliner certifications and 1-2 years related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
