Job Summary
SERVICE TECHNICIAN performs maintenance on trucks from class 5 through class 8 per OEM and company guidelines; diagnoses and repairs truck systems; ensures complete repairs per supervisor instructions; maintains time punches and work orders; adheres to safety procedures; keeps vehicle clean; maintains clean work area; follows warranty procedures; reads and interprets safety and operation manuals; writes routine reports; communicates effectively with customers and employees; handles basic math for discounts and measurements; includes CDL certification and heavy-truck-focused responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- One to two years related experience and/or training
- CDL License
- ASE certification a plus
- Freightliner certification
