Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform maintenance and service on customers compressed air systems at their facilities, troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues. Install compressor air equipment and accessories, complete all work orders and related paperwork, and maintain the company vehicle inventory. Participate in educational opportunities, factory training, and read equipment manuals to maintain technical knowledge. Safely operate in diverse locations following lockout/tagout procedures, lift up to 100lbs, and use provided hand tools, power tools, and multimeters. Based in the Minneapolis area with daily travel into Western WI. Thomas Scientific offers competitive pay with bonuses, PTO, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2-3 years experience in industrial repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting
- A strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing aptitude
- Must be able to use basic hand tools, power tools, and multimeter
- Ability to work on their own, diagnose and solve problems
- Safely operate in diverse locations and follow lockout/tagout and other safety systems
- Lift and move heavy objects up to 100lbs
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
