Job Summary
Service Technician sought to service ICEE and restaurant equipment including frozen and non‐carbonated beverage dispensers, ice makers, and related devices. Responsibilities include receiving dispatched service calls, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment, maintaining inventory and company vehicle, completing service documentation, communicating with customers and supervisors, and supporting warehouse duties as needed. The role includes training via the ICEE Academy, potential tuition reimbursement, and a competitive salary based on experience, with benefits such as holidays, vacation, healthcare, 401(k), and stock purchase options. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Real-ID driver’s license, ability to lift 55 lbs (70+ lbs occasionally), and willingness to drive more than 40% of the time; prior technical or vocational training is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of Technical or Vocational school (preferred)
- Valid Real-ID Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 55 lbs or more on a regular basis; occasional 70+ lbs
- Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time
- Steel-toed shoes
- Experience with mechanical work or technical training
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to safety and proper maintenance procedures
