Job Summary
Service Technicians service ICEE and restaurant equipment including frozen/beverage dispensers, ice makers, and related machines. They work with minimal supervision, attend weekly Service Center meetings, and are provided with a vehicle, tools, uniforms, a cell phone, a tablet, and a gas card. Responsibilities include receiving dispatched service calls, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, performing repairs, maintaining inventory and equipment maintenance, documenting work, communicating with customers and coworkers, and completing warehouse duties (shipping/receiving, organizing). Training through ICEE Academy is provided, with potential relocation to La Vergne, TN for training; compensation is hourly with overtime and benefits offered. Requires Strong mechanical aptitude, good communication, ability to lift heavy loads, and a valid Real-ID. Pay starts at $22/hour and may vary by experience and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of Technical or Vocational school (preferred)
- Valid Real-ID Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 55 lbs or more on a regular basis
- Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs
- Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time
- Must wear steel-toed shoes
