Job Summary
Service Technicians service ICEE and restaurant equipment including Frozen Carbonated and Non-Carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment, ice makers, juice dispensers, etc. They perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot or diagnose service problems, complete repairs, maintain inventory and company vehicle, review service orders with supervisors, document work, and communicate with customers and co-workers. The role includes general warehouse duties (cleaning, organizing, shipping/receiving) and participation in ICEE Academy training. Requires a valid Real-ID driver’s license, ability to lift heavy loads, and willingness to drive a significant portion of the time. Training is provided at the ICEE Academy with potential reimbursement for technical schooling and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical background
- Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis
- Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs. required
- Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time
- Must have and wear steel-toed shoes
