Job Summary
Service Technician responsible for servicing ICEE and restaurant equipment including frozen and non-carbonated beverage dispensers, ice makers, and related devices. Duties include receiving dispatched service calls, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, maintaining inventory and company vehicle/tools, documenting work, and communicating with customers and teammates. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organization and time management, and effective written and oral communication. Training is provided through ICEE Academy with potential tuition reimbursement; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), life insurance, paid time off, and a company vehicle/gas card. Travel up to 40% is possible; position emphasizes hands-on technical work and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical background
- Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred
- Valid Real-ID Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis (occasional 70 lbs.)
- Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time
- Steel-toed shoes
