Job Summary
Perform technical service, inspection, and maintenance on manufacturing equipment and vehicles while diagnosing mechanical issues to minimize production downtime. Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, tools, and facility equipment on scheduled intervals, maintaining accurate logs and service records. Follow all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and PPE requirements at all times. Support equipment changeovers and assist with production floor technical needs as directed. Collaborate with production supervisors and engineering staff to resolve recurring mechanical issues. Requires 2+ years of hands-on mechanical service experience in a manufacturing setting, solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and ability to work assigned shifts in Trenton, SC.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on mechanical service or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work assigned shift in Trenton, SC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a tire, rubber, or polymer manufacturing environment
- Vocational or technical training in industrial mechanics, mechatronics, or a related field
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
