Job Summary
Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician responsible for electrical and mechanical inspection and start-up maintenance on equipment, performing preventative maintenance (belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, cleaning), interpreting engineering drawings, and coordinating with Project Managers, Service Coordinators, and customers. Presents a professional image, works in a team-based environment, submits required paperwork promptly, and is capable of working overtime/weekends. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, HVAC certification, OSHA 10, and 5+ years in a commercial setting; proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices; electrical knowledge required; EPA certification preferred. Reports to Area Service Manager and supports safety and customer satisfaction across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Service Technician in a commercial environment
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and handheld devices (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
- Electrical knowledge required
- EPA Certification (preferred)
