Job Summary
Diagnose and repair access control, CCTV, intercom, intrusion alarm, and related low-voltage systems. Perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, and emergency repairs while installing, configuring, and commissioning new security panels, cameras, and network devices. Troubleshoot hardware, software, wiring, and LAN/WAN connectivity issues, then test functionality and document all work performed. Configure IP cameras, NVRs, and remote access applications, and interpret blueprints to assist with system upgrades. Maintain a clean vehicle and inventory while adhering to OSHA regulations and manufacturer specifications. Complete service reports and provide recommendations to customers. Valid driver's license required; 3+ years of commercial security experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school or associate degree in electronics, networking, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience servicing commercial electronic security or low-voltage systems
