Job Summary
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fuel systems and appliances while maintaining the service vehicle through pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting conditions. Deliver fuel safely and efficiently, provide superior customer service, and bill clients for rendered services. Manage accounts, funds, and inventory by operating a tablet to maintain trip reports and document system testing. Requires a Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce
- Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 lbs
- Exceptional customer service skills
- English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)
- ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
- ability to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English
- ability to respond to official inquiries
- ability to make entries on reports and records
- Must be able to satisfy the English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2) by responding to official inquiries and understanding highway traffic signs and signals in the English language. This includes the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
