Job Summary
Diagnose and repair refuse-vehicle systems including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical; perform vehicle service per repair orders; communicate with parts and customers; supervise apprentices as assigned; conduct road tests and functional testing; maintain safety and compliance with regulations; participate in manufacturer-sponsored training and stay current with bulletins; maintain tools and shop area; proficient with ERP/Office software.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
