Job Summary
Field Technician role at Spectrum focusing on installing and repairing services, educating customers, and providing outdoor fieldwork. Entry-level with on-the-job training and a self-progression plan to advance from Field Technician I to Field Technician IV with 10% pay increases at progression levels and bonus payments for coursework. Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Schedule: Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Language: Fluent in English
- Technical skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications; competent in using hand tools
- Abilities: Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards required
- Physical: Walk over various terrains and weather conditions; lift up to 75 lbs; climb ladders; operate a company vehicle; work outdoors for extended periods
